Can we keep Decision workitem in two users SAP inbox after canel action ?

I have a requirement like " Decision workitem is going to two SAP Users Inbox , when one user opens the work item and choose the cancel and keep workitem in inbox in that case also its disappering in other user's SAP Inbox"

is there any way to keep the work item in both users inbox when one person selects CANCEL AND KEEP WORKITEM IN INBOX ?

Please give me your input.

Is this in SBWP or UWL?

This seems to be the SAP standard in some scenarios. You could have the workflow test for Reserved and unreserve it but then what happens if it was reserved on purpose.

it is SBWP

it is intresting to see that case if one of approver reserves it for the purpose of evaluating later.

the thing is our onsite consultant asked like is it possible to keep the decision in the two approvers SAP Inbox after selecting cancel and keep workitem in the inbox.

is that possible ?

Hi,

You know Workflow is like a small ocean in SAP.

I hope it's difficult for a person to know all the things in it.

I would say it may be possible. But we have to explore it.

I never came across this kind of requirement.

It is not advisable to implement and moreover it is difficult to apply it for a particular task.

In a standard way it's not possible, but if your task decision it's not a standard one, you can try using a method After work item execution and reassign the agent with a standard FM i.e. SWW_WI_AGENTS_CHANGE.

Hello,

It's a very reasonable request and personally I can't understand why SAP has made that the default. It should only reserve a workitem when the user has specifically asked for that. It doesn't seem to be a problem in UWL. Good luck and let us know how you go with this. You could also try searching, it's a common problem.

Hi,

I am not sure about placing in two user inbox after he reserves it.

But he can replace the workitem again so that it will appear again in other user's inbox.
