Error on importing catalogue via MDIS

Hi! We have been processing our catalogue file via MDIS without problem. However, we started getting the below error and I do not know whether it is as a result of us running Import Manager and saving the import map with a few more value mappings.

Error: The import map is not complete:1. Missing the XML Root Element.2. There are multiple root elements defined in the xml schema.Solution: Please select the proper root element via the IM GUI then save the map.

Can I check what the system means by going to the IM GUI to save the map? Any help would be appreciated.
