Using table comarison, hist preserve and key gen transforms with CDC type 2

I am creating a job SCD type 2: Under table comparison properties > compare columns list box.

I am giving all fields of traget table except the primary key.

primary keycolumn, i put in input primary key.

And i am using the history presevation & key gen transforms before target table.

We have lot of data in the source, is this an optimized way to load to the target table or will i need to make any changes?
