How can I automatically log on the report when I re-open it?

Hi,

I am using Cristal Reports XI to design/generate reports.

Crystal Reports connects to the database (MS SQL Server 2005) using a "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server" connection.

Every time, when I re-open the report I am dealing with, I get the following screen:

Server: ***

User ID: ***

Password: ________

Database: ***

Integrated Security (Check Box)

So, I have to enter the password every time. Dull...

How can I automatically log on the report when I re-open it?

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

If integrated Security is checked on then it's the DB server prompting for the password. Check with your DB and get him to remove and then add your Domain user name back into the server. Then validate you have permissions to access those databases required for the report.

Thanks

Thank you...

Not sure what you are asking and the post is marked as answered?

Anyways, the reason is CR fully supports Database Security, if you have Trusted checked on and it still prompts it means either your user account is not sync'd up with your network Domain controller and your password has changed or the database/tables you are trying to access has not been configured to allow you to access them.

Your DBA can verify this.

Thanks again
