Change in notification type

Hi,

Please help me with the following problem:

The client would like to change the notification type of notifications which were created incorrectly with an incorrect notification type.

From our analysis, we have understood that the change in notification type is possible only if the origin of the notification is maintained as G0.

Our client has not maintained the origins for all the notification types as G0.

For e.g.

Change of M1 to M2 and vice versa; wherein M1 type has the origin as G0 but M2 does not have G0 as the origin. So M1 can be changed to M2 but an M2 notification type cannot be changed to M1.

This has been a recurrring concern for the business; since these notifications are being created by the front office staff; who are not so well versed with SAP.

Kindly suggest a solution for this issue.
