2KEE exchange rate

Hello Experts,

Where do transaction code 2KEE extracts its exchange rate? I have CNY as my company code currency and USD as profit center local currency.

I'm using the company code currency as my base and I multiply it with the given rate in OB08 but I get different results in comparison with the generated USD profit center local currency.

Please advise

Thanks,

Stiffler

Hi,

1. The document currency (WRBTR) will not be transfered to PCA.

2. The profit center local currency is always derived from the controlling area in the PCA customizing.

3. Now the FI local currency (and only the FI local currency) is taken over to PCA in the company code currency (HSL) and is converted from this currency to the profit center local currency (KSL). As the system takes the exchange rate type 'M' to convert the values from HSL to KSL the values are different to the sum of all document currencies.

Only if you have maintained in transaction OB22 the same currency type and same valuation as the group currency (I guess you have set up 'Legal Valuation' in PCA in your system in transaction 0KE5) as 2nd local FI currency PCA takes over this value in profitcenter local currency (KSL)

Thanks Waman for you reply,

So what is the purpose of having the columns: summation of "In co. code currency" and summation of "In profit center local currency" in 2KEE report. Where do SAP extracts this values in 2KEE?

Thanks,
