Fixed bin

Dear Experts,

Here i want some information about Pick Fixed bin ,

My scenario is like i have assigned one pick fixed bin under storage type having qty based capacity check in material master and given the Min and max limit for that.

Now when i am taking that material into another bin for same storage type as initial upload (Capacity check qty based.) system check the limits but which limit i am not able to understand?

Hi

when u are fix a fixed bin under one storage type then in that storage type all the bins it should be applicable

Hi,

Since you have activated the capacity check method as 3 in the customizing for your storage types in your ware house and also if the capacity check is activated ,irespective of the bin which you place the system checks the capacity.

Yes you are right but which limit they have taken that is i am not understanding.

For example : Material MAT1 and BIN 1 MIN 50 MAX 100

but in initial upload excel file BIN2 is there for this material , while uploading this file system is giving Limit exceed error .but here i am not able to understand which max limit system is checking because i have not maintained this BIN 2 for this material in material master record.

Hi ,

Check for your storage type search startegy for stock placement in that check any 2 nd storage type is mainatined for your fixed bin storage type.

SproLEWM--Strategies

If it is maintained, check for the corresponding bin type for the corresponding storage type.

Then check in LS01N for the BIN2 capacity.

No there is not any kind of Qty based storage type in Putaway sequence.

check whether you have defined the BIN2 under your fixed storage type in LS01 trx and also check it capacity.
