Transactional Info Cubes

Hello Again BW Experts,

This is the first time I'm hearing transactional Info cubes what does this mean ? Also how do I use it in reporting purposes

Hi Hoyer,

These cubes are used for both read and write; standard cubes are optimized for reading. The transactional cubes are used in SEM.

Since transactional cubes are not loaded by infopackage they reporting flag is not set till it reaches a certain limit. To view the data from queries with latest data, you should use the system variable 0S_RQMRC (Most Current Data) as a filter for Request ID in your BEx queries.

The limit for the BPS package is usually around 50,000 records and if you look in the transaction cube when it is switched to transaction cube mode rather than BW load mode, it is typically yellow and the package name starts with RSAPO*
