Pre-DME write to Finance table Reguh

Recently 1 auditor pointed out there if salary data was written to finance table reguh (via pre-DME program), what security are in place to control the confidentiality of the data. My questions are:

1. If not write to reguh, is there anyway to write to other table? any user exit/badi to do that?

2. If write to reguh, any way to control finance users from viewing the data?

HI,

Generally users are not accessible to SE16, SE11, SE16N, SE11 transactions in order to prevent them from accessing or viewing confidential data unless really necessary.

Thanks,

Ameet

First, you'll need to prevent non-FI / Payroll personnel from accessing the table through S_TABU_DIS authorization. Second, as both payroll and FI need to access to REGUH table, addtional authorization at line level is needed to prevent strictly FI users from viewing payroll payments in REGUH.
