FileDialog

Hi all.

For importing external values from a textFile I am trying to implement a Windows.Forms.OpenFileDialog in an ADD On. On ShowDialog the system "frezes".

Anybody knows of another way to give the user access to a filedialog?

    Hi,

first thing to do is create a windows form within your application (.net, I hope) Make sure that this form runs on a separate thread. Otherwise SBO will wait for the dialogue.

Then just open the file dialog from within this thread.

If I recall correctly, there should be a number of threads in this forum dealing with this issue.
