PO modification

I had created a PO with 2 line items against a particular PR. PR was for 5 lakh units. The two line items I had created was for 1 lakh and 50,000 unit respectively. The PO is already been released from all the levels. Now I want to use the rest units of PR (i.e. 2.5 lakh units) to make another line item uder the same PO number (most preferable) or fresh PO. How can I do it?

Hi Dear,

As you are saying that the PO has already been release then the best option is to go for the New PO else beased on your Release strategy Configuration the system may behave in different ways like retriggering the Release Strategy or even PO not allowing to change.

Hi There

If required you can add the 3rd line item and mention the PR number to get the 200000 units and save the PO, It may trigger again for the rel strategy.

or

In ME21n you can create the new PO with the partially ordered PR for the 200000 units

If your requirement is to skip the release strategy again, it is up to your system configuration,

HI,

option1:-ME21n click on docuement overview on,then click on selection varient, click on purchase requestion and select your purchase reqution ,then select your PR item and click on adopt

option2:In itemoverview of PO give your PR number and Item and excute you will get reamining qty from PR

As per me, you can create a new line item in same PO. PO will be subjected to release strategy as per your release strategy i.e. release strategy might trigger again depending upon the settings of release strategy.

in ME21N in the Purchase requiistion and item you enter that pr number in a new create purchase order screen or you can do the same in ME22N.

but if the material and the plant is same the system will total up the material quantity.
