Recording a transaction that uses ALV.

Hi experts,

I am recording a transaction that uses ALV GRID. It is specified in intructions that has been given to me to include the "SELECTING A SPECIFIC LAYOUT" in the ALV during recording.

Unfortunately, it seems that selecting the layout in the ALV has not been included during recording.. Is this not possible?
