How Could the CTM propagate the CDP characteristic ?

Hello,

I´ve been trying to use CDP funcionality with CTM.

I´ve configured some CDP features as followed bellow:

1 - Actived the CDP ( Master data>>Define the configuration Schema)

2 - /SAPAPO/CSP1 - Maintain consumption group

3 -/SAPAPO/RRPCUST1 - Global Customizing PP (Active the Descriptive Char value propagation)

4 - Created a Characteristic prioritization - (Spro: CTM>>Demand Prioritization>>Define Special Sort of Descriptive Characteristic)

I created a scenario to test the CTM.

-> Create two material (consumption group), Cif the work center and the production version.

-> Create a planning book to realease the forecast based on the characteristic defined in CDP. ( /sapapo/mc90 - Use the consumption group to release)

I can realease the forecast with characteristic as expected.

After that, I created a CTM profile using Strategy - "Consider Characteristic" and Basic setting - Continuos planning / PP/DS Type.

However when I check the master data in CTM profile, a message appears as I don´t have PDS but I have it.(No plan exists for in-house production source of supply ) - 1st Issue

I just want to create the SNP planning orders with the same characteristic of forecast I released.

Could you help to use the propagation of characteristic in CTM?

Thanks a lot about help.

I think this does not work as you expect. there ís a difference in descriptive characteristic propagation and configuration characteristic propagation. the descriptive characteristic propagation only works in PP/DS planning heursitics. CTM can work with class characteristic propagation from the output node the input node for example. this is defined in the PDS.

For the error with the PDS check the scope of the master data. the PDS has to be in the selection.
