Missing texts on a copied smartform

Hi Guys,

I am getting crazy. I copied a smartform to another one but when I testt/use the copied smartform, all the fixed texts are misisng. I am quite sure I am missing something but I do not know what.

Could you please help me?

Hi Guys,

I found the problem. The orignal form has "DE" as language. When I performed the copy, I was logged in enslish and the copied form had "EN" as language.

This was probably creating some problems at the transaltions table level becuase I could not see the texts in the copied form, independently from the logon language.

I solved the problems as follows:

- I deleted the copied form

- I logged in the system in german

- I performed the copy in german

- the copied form had DE as language

Now I can see the texts of the copied form, independently from the logon language.

Glad you found the cause.

As I said, this was in fact related to languages and translation.

i think you might be copied each and every thing from the main form instead that you can copy like you open the smartform and put the smartform which to be copied and press Ctrl + F5 it will ask source object to Target Object in the target object you create your own smartforms

HI friend,

Check whether the text in the previous smart form are specified as text elements or maintained as include text.

If its maintained as text elements then you need to recreate in your program also.

I suspect this may be related to languages and translation.

Are you saying that the labels in the copied form are there in the editor but don't show up when testing the output?
