Is there a report that can identify unused InfoObjects or Key Figures? Basically I want to know what InfoObjects are not being used by any other InfoObject, DSO, Cube, or InfoSet.
Following should also work.
RSD1
Select 'Characteristic' radio button
Select 'InfoObjects Not Used in Data Targets' radio button
Hit Display

You need combine some tables to get that information.
The aim is to avoid younger infoobjects which is just create and not used anywhere.
The all available info objects are taken from the table RSDIOBJ
The objective is to eliminate the following BI infoobjects that are not used in all possible ways.
1.Info providers : Infocubes, ODS ,Multiporviders, infosets
2.Attributes of characteristics
3.Reference/Compounded infoobjects.
4.Infoobjects Used inside Units of Key figures.
5.Infoobjects Used inside transfer/communication structures.
Tables:
RSDIOBJ u2013 Details of all the available infoobjects
RSDCUBEIOBJ u2013 Link table between Infoobjects and Infocube/MultiProvider
RSDIOBJCMP u2013 Link table between info objects and compounded Infoobject.
RSDBCHATR u2013 Link between infoobject and the Attribute of a characteristic.
RSDKYF u2013 Link between keyfigure and Unit reference.
RSTSFIELD u2013 Link between Transfer structure and the infoobject.
RSKSFIELD u2013 Link between Communication structure and the infoobject
then do it for infoproviders & infosources etc.
