Dear Gurus,
Here the situation is say a material M having a basic unit of measure EA(each). At the time of Purchasing the material M we are purchased in Packs say 1 pack = 10 EA. But the order quantity units is displayed in EA.
But here in my scenario i want to see the stock in inventory as Packs .
So, guru's is there any kind of flash lights will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks & Regards,
Madhu.G
Hi Madhu,
You just want to see the stock in PO Unit or something else?
Coz in that case, you can put "Unit Of Measure" on selection screen of MMBE to display the stock in that particular UoM.

As far as I know it's not possible to default to a particular alternative unit of measure because a material can have various alternative unit of measures and different materials will have different types of AUoM's and each material can have multiple info-records each with their own purchasing unit. I think the solution would be to develop a custom report but even in there you need to incorporate a logic specifying which info-record UoM needs to be picked up in case if multiple info-records exist (just to stay fool proof).
Hi Madhu,
As I said in my earlier reply, you either can create a Variant of MMBE by having required PO UoM in field-Display UoM on selection screen of MMBE.
Or else, just execute MMBE and after having output of MMBE, press keyboard key-F6. System will come up with a window showing all Alternative UoM maintained for a particular material. Select the one in which you want to display the Inventory/Stock.

you can have screen variants of mmbe for the materials for which alternate unit of measure is defined in the material master

Hi
You need to maintain the alternate unit of measurement and conversion in Material master for the material and while viewing the stock in MMBE you can give the alternate unit of measurement after executing MMBE change unit there.
Check and revert
