    Hi Dayalan,

    have you tried with telnet using the same port, smtp server, user and psw?

    What you sp? Have you multiple server? If so have you an environment with single server, it works there?

    Kind regards

    Hi There

    You can try the following:

    If you are using a exchange server, you can try the following configuration to see if it works (different authentication mechanism)

    APPROVALSTATUSMAIL = YES

    SMTPAUTH = 2 - This tells BPC to use NTLM authentication

    SMTPPORT = 25

    SMTPSERVER = mail.reportedge.net

    SMTPUSER = i.e. SAP\UserA

    SMTPPASWORD = <passwd> i.e.PasswordA

    The mail will originate, or come from the users mailbox in which it is connecting to the mail server. For example: if you have configured the SMTPUSER to use UserA, when the users receive the mail it should come from UserA

    You will also need to ensure that the user in which you have configured the SMTPUSER has a valid email address defined in BPC.

    You can reference the SAP Note: 1397129 for further information

    Hope this helps

    Kind Regards

    Daniel
