Hi,
I have created a query that shows values for all calendar months in the past two years, using an offset based on current calendar month variable. I am using structures and cell referencing to calculate. I need these columns on the report to be labeled with the name of the month the data is reflecting. I tried creating my own text variable, and using the standard text varaibles, but it is not working and just shows the &ZCALMNTH& technical variable name when I run the query. I tried the query using a user entered CALMONTH value, as well as a dynamically generated "current calendar month" variable and neither worked.
Do I need a customer exit for this? Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?
Thanks
I was able to get the text variable working with only one month value.
However, I am doing an offset in a structure - so the user enters a calendar month value, then I offset by -1, -2, -3, etc, to get the past months. How can I display the values for these offset months?
Thanks!

In the variable settings for ZCALMNTH, you need to update the replacement path to direct to the values from the input-ready variable i.e. "current calendar month". This setting will solve your case. I don't think there's a necessity in any point for a customer exit variable in this case.

Thanks, but that thread just talks about key and text display.
I am having trouble with the functionality of text variables when working with a CALMONTH variable.
