Default Position

Could anyone tell me as to which position a person would be assigned to if he/she has his or her position delimited to a particular date and not been assigned to any new position by the user....?

For example,

I delimit a person's position(A008) to 5th Feb in pp01 and have not assigned him to any other position from 6th Feb.

Will there be a new record created in PA20 having start date of 6th Feb?...if yes,will he be assigned to the default position?...where can i check for these settings?...

HI,

Person will be assigned default position whatever is being maintained in table T77S0 for PLOGI PRELI value.

It could be 99999999 or 00000000.

and what abt PA20?...will there be a new record created automatically with the default position and new end date?..

Yes, once you delimit the relationship and create the vacancy, a new IT0001 will be created.

Hi,

Yes PA20 will also reflect the same changes as done on OM side if integartion between OM-PA is done.
