Hello,
I am trying to install Business Objects Crystal Reports on my work machine and it is giving me an error.
I managed to install it on my personal laptop, which makes me think it is an admin related issue.
I believe that on my work machine I might not have permissions to certain folders or files which the software needs me to have, and that is created a fatal error which doesnt allow the installation to complete.
Any ideas on how to go about this issue?
Regards
Paulo Alao
What version of Crystal Reports?
What is the error?
What OS?
Are you logged in as local admin?

Hi Paulo,
Typically when that happens it's because of a missing dependency.
If you search Microsoft's MSDN for MSIExec install logging you can create a log file and then look at it for any errors. It may tell you if something is missing.
Try copying the CR package onto your local hard drive and then right click on the setup.exe and run as Administrator.
