Hi

i have taken an Central sytstem Export

i am using this Export to import in High availablitily machine (solaris+oracle)

i installed ASCS and SCS successfully, when i was installing DataBase Instance i got an Error @ ABAP import phase.

An error occurred while processing option SAP Solution Manager 7.0 EhP1 > Software Life-Cycle Options > System Copy > Oracle > Target System Installation > High-Availability System > Based on AS ABAP and AS Java > Database Instance( Last error reported by the step: Process call '/usr/sap/PSM/SYS/exe/uc/sun_64/R3load -testconnect' exits with error code 2. For details see log file(s) R3load.exe.log.). You can now:

Choose Retry to repeat the current step.

Choose Log Files to get more information about the error.

Stop the option and continue with it later.

Log files are written to /install/scs/DB.

Thanks in Advance

let me guess, the source and the target have different kernel version? backup target system kernel then change it into source kernel version. then retry.

PS. the target kernel usually use default DVD Mater kernel but source system usually have been patched to another level.

    Hi,

I faced this issue earlier. I had to apply latest kernel to resolve this.
