Dear All,
What is SAP OSS Secure area?where to update the login credentials(SAP Secure area) for SAP to connect our system?
Hello,
The so called "Secure Area" is a place in the SAP Service Marketplace where you can store the logon data (user, password, server, etc) in a secure way.
In the SAP Note 508140 you will find all the relevant information about the "Secure Area" and how to update it. Basically, you have two ways of accesing the "Secure Area" to update the login credentials:
1. Using the SAP message wizard; you can use the quick link or message to call the SAP message assistant.
Once there you have to:
1.a. Select the system for which you want to create a message
1.b. Choose the option 'Maintain Access Data'.
1.c. A new window is displayed, where you have to select the system and choose 'Change'. Here you will have to enterthe required logon data.
2. You can also use the system data application to manage the access data centrally (use the quick link or system data to call the system data).
2.a. Select the system where you want to store the receipt dates.
2.b. Choose 'Change'.
2.c. Enter all of the required logon data and then save the data.
Best regards,
Manuel Suarez.
