Email notification works on post document but not in BPF

Hi Experts,

We've already configured email notification on DEV server and everything is working fine. Now we want to configure the same in the PRD server but the problem is email notification works only on posting of documents but not in BPF such as when a step is opened, for review or when rejected. Already enabled corresponding BPF email template in SA38>UJB_MAINTAIN_EMAIL_TMPL. Already checked at SCOT and Application Set parameters. Both SMTP server and port are maintained. Not sure where the problem is, any help?

    Make sure that the user id which generates the email actually has an email address assigned to it in the user profile.
