Using SP

How to update a report with SP. Do I have to redesign the whole report again or do I need to insert the SP into the report and change anythinh.

ALL of the reports are in CMC

Hi,

You would need to open the report in the CR designer and do a 'Verify Database' (Database > Verify Database).

If the stored proc contains parameters, it will prompt for them. Make sure you enter them and hit OK.

You can also check the 'Verify Stored Procedures on first refresh' option under File > Report Options. This will make sure the report always presents the current version of the stored procedure.

Didnt think of the Set database Location

Hi,

open your report in desinger and select Database tab and select "Set Datasource Location"

Navigate to required Stored Procedure and click on "Update"

save the report to Enterprise.
