Hi Experts,

Someone can help me on the following :

I've installed the EPM Add-In for Excel.

And now tried to configue a connection to the my server, but failed.

In fact , with my URL, the system find an Environnement - the Shell Environnement, but, does not find any Model :-(.

I work with : EPM10 NW SP05.

Someone get any idea please ?

Thanks a lot,

Olivia.

Like in BPC 7.5 you have to assign Data Access Profile with write Access for each model (same concept of MBRACCESSPROFILE) and it will appear in EPM Add-on.

Go in security and maintain DATAACCESSPROFILE and assign urself a user to it.

You can see Model associated to Environment for this you should uncheck the model entity which is secured if you are in http://

Ok.

By reading the central note for SP05 : 1627973.

Here is a summary :

CRITICAL

A security related problem with Web and Excel reports was found shortly after the release of SP05. To fix the problem, you must apply SAP Note 1668831 after you install SP05.

To install the required components, see the Planning and Consolidation 10.0 Installation Guide, version for SAP NetWeaver, which is available on SAP Service Marketplace at https://service.sap.com/instguidesEPM-BPC.

To upgrade the components, use the transaction SPAM. See SAP Note 1276941 for detailed instructions.

And a summary of the note 1668831 :
