Portal Theme

Hi

I am trying to apply a customised portal theme to the portal.

In Portal Display, I choose my theme and put in the company's logos and I 'SAVE AS' this to 'Company Theme'.

To apply it, I go to Personalize to choose it from the drop down. 'Company Theme' is not there. How can I apply this theme.

I don't know if you have tried the suggestions recommended by other posters. Here is a method which has worked for me in the past.

1. Create and save the theme in the Theme Editor (You have done that already, good)

2. Browse to System Administration -> Portal Display -> Desktops and Display Rules

3. Expand the tree on the right by clicking: Portal Content -> Portal Users -> Standard Portal Users

4. You should see the <b>Default Portal Desktop</b> now

5. Right click to edit it. You should see a list of portal themes. These are the themes that show up while personalizing the portal

6. Find your theme in the left hand tree. And add to the this Defualt Portal Desktop

7. Save and get out of it.

8. Your theme should start showing up now in Personalization.

Make sure that You are using the correct Display rules

Portal COntent -> Portal Administrators -> super_admin -> "Master Rule Colelction"

Hi Namira,

I am not sure why is it not coming in that dropdown.

But, for applying your <b>Company Theme</b> you can do as follows:

You can add your <b>own-framework page</b> and <b>theme (Company Theme)</b> to a <b>portal-desktop you created</b> and assign this portal-desktop to the users in <b>main_rules</b> (System Administration > Portal Display > Desktops & Display rules > Portal Administrators > Super Administrators)
