plan scheduling depending on other plans' scheduling

Hello,

We have an equipment that has 4 notifications planned a year. One notification is for external maintenance, notification type M4, and three notification is for internal maintenance, notification type M1.

The problem is the following: The date this notification is programmed defines the dates that will be programmed the following internal notifications.

For example, notification for external maintenance is programmed for april 1, 2012. The notifications for internal maintenance will be on:

-july 1, 2012

-October 1, 2012

-January 1, 2013

We have created 4 maintenance plans and we have to maintain dates manually. For example, if there is a change in external maintenance date, for example may 1, 2012, we have to change dates for the rest 3 plans.

- August 1, 2012

- November 1, 2012

- February 1, 2013

Is there a way to customize this dependence among notifications? This way, user will not have to maintain this manually.

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards,

Thanks for your quick response.

Anyway, I think i have not explained myself.

What I want to know is if there is a way to schedule a plan date depending on other plans.

I write another example

We have plans 1 to 100.

Plans 10 to 19 dates depends on plan 1

Plans 20 to 29 dates depends on plan 2

Plans 30 to 39 dates depends on plan 3

and so on..

If I restart plan 1, I have to restart pan 10 to 19.

Is there a way that the user only has to start plan 1, and there is no need to restart manualy plans 10 to 19?

Can we customize SAP in order to restart automatically plans 10 to 19, when plan 1 is restarted?

Best Regards

Greetings Juan,

Why would you not use a single plan with more items, rather than a number of separate plans? If you put all the intr-dependent notifications as items for one maintenance plan, you could control it with just one schedule and the "fix date" functionality mentioned earlier.
