Activity Dates Carry Forward

Dear All,

In a WBSE 4 activity have created each has been assigned with relationship

when one Predecessors' got delay in their work and it has been completed after 5 days delay then successor activity dates automatically should carry forward 5 days

When Predecessors got delay for 5 days in report it showing the same then for the successor also it should show the delay

I would like to know Whether above point is possible, that dates will automatically will be carry forward or not

Hello Doss,

Yes!! The said scenario is possible. Once you delay the predecessor by X time the same delay will be impacted on its successor activities.And , on the destination node(activity) this impact will be visible.

Can you pls tell me how and where the impact will be visible

Coz when i tested with delay date the successor could not see any change and where i should see the change or affect happen

for the same

Hello Doss,

Use T-code CN41N . Here, select the filter and choose your required fields of dates(earliest/latest).

Change/delay the dates at project builder and see the impact here.
