Refresh Keeps Bringing up Long List of Parameters

I am using CR 2016. The database that I am connecting into requires the following settings on the setup of the connection:

- XML and Web Service

- Web Service Data Source

- HTTP(S) WSDL

The issue that I am having is that when I am pulling over tables, I am being prompted to enter a long list of parameters for each table. Meaning, if I pull over 6 tables, I am prompted 6 times to enter the exact same parameters. Every time I hit refresh on the report, if I want to change one parameter (ex. Start Date), I have to re-select each parameter all over again.

Most parameter fields have a drop-down with "..." and "<blank>." In order to get past the parameters page, we need to select <blank> on each drop-down.

Basically what I am trying to figure out is if there is a way to set these to <blank> by default, and/or is there a way to have these parameters not display at all?

If my understanding is correct, you have a separate WSDL connection to every table ad link the tables in CR. In this case you should have duplicated parameters in Field Explorer. Please confirm.

As a potential solution you may try to create a new report connected to a single table. It would be your Main (container) report, then add the original report as a subreport and link all the parameters.

Never tried it myself, but it should work.

Sorry for late response. Thanks for your suggestion. I was actually able to work with the company that handles our database and they re-rigged the entire database to make it use an ODBC and drag and drop, which alleviated the need for my original question, so, unfortunately, I do not know if this worked or not, but I sincerely appreciate your help!!
