SQL DATA load to PSA

Hi all

I'm Extracting data from SQL source I Have a filed " REASON " Datatype:Varchar ,length:100" is mapped to " Zreason, char: length50" after loading into PSA corresponding records from source are coming blank for this field. its extracting all the records but values are blank. Ex: 1347 records available for Reason field, but in PSA only 27 records are availbale for Reasoninfo object and rest of the records blank or 0,00 , any suggestions..

In the data acquisition process from source system your need to create a DataSource to join the source system with BI system. You create your extractor in your ECC and after that you replicate this in your BI system, then you create a InfoPackage to upload data from source system to BI system, some thing you usually set up some filter in you InfoPackage, I think there son filter in the tab Data Selection in the InfoPackage, try to check your InfoPackage configuration.

I'm Extracting from NON SAP system, (SQL) there are no filters in infopackage level.

R u extracting all the fields from source system to the bw or only some of the fields. I think ur extracting some of the fields into the bw side. Suppose u have 5 fields in source system and if u r extracting only 3 fields into the bw side then what happens is that if all the 3 fields have common values then it will perform sum up.

I'm extracting 25 fields from SQL view, one field " Reason" has values like1) Offer can't be made 2)BGC issue 3) Not intrested like this there are 20 reasons coming in r"REASON" fileld from SQl view. I have checked 1)data type ,length, lower case check in data source,External lenght in data source, replicated data source and ran package again, but not able to fix this, Plz suggest me how to handle this issue.
