Campaign Information in Opportunity

Hi Experts,

We have a scenario where we create an Opportunity from lead. This lead has been created from a campaign.

Can we get this campaign information in the Opportunity?

We need it for reporting purposes.

Hi Aakshi,

As per my understanding, when a Lead is created from a campaign, Transaction history got updated for that lead, and in Transaction History assignment block that linked Campaign would be available with reference type campaign.

Now when we create a followup opportunity to this lead same campaign should be there is transaction history assignment block.

Please note: Values (Leads, Opportunity or Campaigns) for 'Reference Type' in 'Transaction History' assignment block is controlled through 'Object Reference Profile' that is assigned to the respective 'Transaction Type'. So, Object Reference Profile defines what all objects could be referenced from the current object

Also, you might need to implement DOC_FLOW () method in CRM_COPY_BADI implementation if campaign is not copied from Leads to opportunity.
