Prepare Optimize for BIA subindex terminated

Hello,

During the initial fill of one BIA index we get the error message "Prepare Optimize for BIA subindex terminated". Message no. RSD_TREX024

I found note number 1404989 which seems to be a match for our error message. The note says to correct the data however it is a challenge to correct the data as we are unable to find the bad value. In the note example the trace reveals the bad value. However in our trace no value is provided. We are wondering if the bad value might be spaces and as a result it is difficult to find by browsing the table. The trace provides the infoobject name but not the bad value.

Has anyone seen this error message before? Any ideas how to resolve it? ANy ideas how to isolate the bad value?

Thanks,

TMS

Hello,

I would try some RSRV tests for the cube and objects first. But assuming that it fails during a specific MD object that you think that has some bad values in it. Check the infoobject (rsd1) to see if there is any obvious bad entries. If so try to delete them.

However if there are any transactional data for this MD you can't delete them unless you delete the corresponding entires in the cubes/dso's first. Then use (slg1) enter Object: RSDMD \Subobject: MD_DEL \ User: your userid , hit F8

In the next screen Expand node and dbl click 'Problem class additional information'. This will give provide the objects that are using SIDs of MD. Once data deleted from cube, then Use Tcode RSRV -> Tests in Transaction RSRV -> All Elementary Tests -> Transaction Data -> Entries Not Used in the dimension of an InfoCube (Dbl Click). From the right side window, expand u201CEntries Not Used in the Dimension of an InfoCubeu201D Node & Enter InfoCube , click u201CTransferu201D. Now, click u201CExecuteu201D (Toolbar)u2026 and the results displayed in the right side window. Now, click u201CCorrect erroru201D (Toolbar)

Cheers
