Crystal Reports 2010 SP1 not printing to a generic text only printer

Hello,

We are using Crystal Reports 2010 SP1. We have set up a generic text only printer for overlaying image by 3rd party. We are using a crystal report which is basically is a xml set up with tags in it and we fill data in it. We are seeing that the XML is indeed going out to the printer but the printer is not able to print. The same set up works fine with Crystal reports 11.5, which we use for another of our software version.

Could you advise, what we need to do to be able to print a xml using Crystal Reports 2010 SP1 ? What we need to change for crystal report to print to generic text only printer ?

Question:

Did it work in CR 11.5 from a .NET app (using the CR assemblies for .NET), or from the CR designer? Or using the RDC SDK?
