Acqusiction new company

Dear Expert,

that

We have a new company. This company is including to our consolidation group.

I was wondering that we must use posting levels: 02,12,22 for this company and activity setting for "Change of organization group"?

What do it do posting levels: 02, 12 and 22 for acqusiction company to consolidation group?

For an acquisition the posing levels 02, 12 and 22 are not relevant. These are only applicable when a cons unit is moved within the hiearachy to a new parent/cons group - divested in one cons group and aqcuired in another.

For an acquisition simply load the balances at the time of acquisition, including any additional financial data for the investment and equity relating to consolidation of investments (if implemented and used).

I think the new company should have created master data in the data source after it deverpa be created in the workbench in BCS in master data, the new company consolidation Units and include in the consolidation hierarchy, then configure all the tasks and methods to the new company
