Hi

I want to clarify one thing what is the meaning of "Production setting" . Some one asked me tell the production setting of T code RSKC?

Hi,

Prodcution settings refer to the setting done to permit or to exclude.

For T code RSKC :this T code is used to allow invalid character so go to RSKC and check which all setting for character is maintaine in it.

Hi Tushar,

Production setting of Tcode RSKC means the permissible characters you maintain in BW without which the data loads will fail in case of special characters coming into BW system.

Transaction code RSKC is allowing of special characteristics in to SAP BW . Ex:If OLTP the user creates some special characters (@, . > < * &) in these special characters BW not allowed . User want these Special Characteristics in Reporting in that time You want allow special characteristics .Go to T- code RSKC and provide special characteristics (@#$%^&).Maximum number of special character is allowed 76 only.

Hi Tushar,

As per my knowladge, it means what r the characteristics u r maintaning in your RSKC T-code.

RSKC t-code maintain the special characteristics which r not allowing u to load the data in infoprovider.

So go to RSKC --> give the all char which are infront of Pemitted extra characters

Production setting to TCode RSKC transaction is whenever you want to allow special characters in your data.

If they are not entered in RSKC then your data load fails because of these characters.

So whichever characters you want to allow, you need to mention over there.
