Address change workflow

Hi,

I have to trigger a workflow when ever an employee changes address details from portal,Workflow triggering

sucessfully.But Before approval only updateing the data in the backend.

As Andy said, WF will get triggered after update. Try as he suggested or build a new app for address with WF.

did you make your own WD ABAP application using the BAPI BAPI_ADDRESSEMP_CREATE?

here you can build steps for approval and after successful approval an update should happen, check the WF

the workflow is triggered after the updating of the DB. so this is not possible. You can use the wf to try to block the record and unblock it after approval
