Standard price release with out price change document

Hi!

one of our client is doing standard cost estimation once in 3 months and releasing the standard price, while releasing the standard price, system is revaluating the entire stock with new standard price ( previous periods also). But my client is asking not to revaluate the stock belongs to previous periods, as stock value belong to previous periods which are correct. Stock has to be posted with new standard price from current period ..

How to restrict the revaluation of entire stock during standard price release?

No material ledger.

It is not possible to restrict the revaluation to only the current stock. The stock cannot be segregated in to current stock and old stock. For this you have to transfer the old stock to another material code and keep a manual price as that of the old standard cost.

Whenever standard cost estimate is released for a material type it revaluates all the stock in the current period only. If you want some materials not to be revaluated then exclude the same from the selection.

Hi!

our objective is to avoid revaluation of stock for all materials, the new goods movements have to be posted with new standard price.

The stock which has been posted till previoud period, should have same stock value as per old standard price.

I have checked some SAP delivered controls and rules "P2P Standard price change impact

-LOMSTMV_06T1_01_A", I am not sure whether we can modify these rules or not? if yes, how to modify?
