Using SAP Netweaver Devloper Studio with Eclipse

Has anyone used CVS with SAP Netweaver Developer studion. I understand we can't use additional plugins which are availiable as freeware and install them on SAP Netweaver developer studio which is also based on Eclipse IDE.
