How to prevent the mandatory checking during dropdown roundtrip?

Dear Experts

I have in "HCM – Process and Forms" with Adobe Form (TC HRASR_DT) a dropdown field with roundtrip. The application gets to Back-End-Service and I fill the help values of another dropdown depend on the entry of the first one. The application works OK, but when the program returns to the form all mandatory fields are checked and error messages appear. But until pushing on send button I am not finished with my work. The mandatory fields have got in their field attribute “Requested Entry”.

My question: How can I prevent this checking? These fields should not be checked while proceeding dropdown.

I searched a lot in internet and couldn’t find any suitable answer.

Thanks for your help

You need to use the field group, define all of the fields which you are using for this and add this field group in the submit event. This way you can restrict only the fields which you are interested with..

You need to understand HCM P&F eventing and how to control the checking (using "flags" or event checks or other mechanisms). This is a bit more advanced in HCM P&F and comes with practice. Too much to try to note everything down here and various ways to do it. Krishna's comment is "slightly" correct, but I can not stand trying to do "user events" with Adobe Interactive Forms that way.
