Cannot delete locale specifc entry for Localized Resource

Hi ,

For localized resource ' doc$messaging.message_header.ss ', this LR is referenced in several mail types. I created a Locale speciic entry to this LR to check a customization in mails.

What has happened is that the original mail types settings have got erased and the new settings are also not showing up.

I tried deleting the locale specific entry, but the system is not allowing.

How to go about deleting the entry, so that the original settings are restored in mail types.

Regards,

Pankaj

    Hi,

Locale specific entry can be deleted for custom created localized resources if you have the appropriate permissions of doing so.

If you have added the locale specific entry to a OOB localized resource, then its not something that you can delete. Maybe you can try with system manager or enterprise ID. If you read the hover text over the Custom field on Locaized resource, it says: "Identifies whether or not this is a custom resources. Only custom resources can be changed at runtime in a production environment."

    Thanks,

    Vikram
