Dear all,
In Tcode: MC.9, what is formula for Total Stock Turnover.
By pressing F1 it shows = (Total consumption) / (Average Total consumption)
Is this formula correct? Other similar parameters namely Average Total stock turnover and Annual Total stock turnover have stock values in the denominator.
Then why it is different for Total stock turnover?
Please guide.

Hi,
Val.stock turnover means the tunover of the valuated stock.IT shows the quantity. Val.stockturn-value means shows the value of valuated stock.
The calculation formula is same for both. But for value should incorporate values anfor turnover should incorporate quantity.. The formula as follows:
The inventory turnover of the valuated stock is ....
total consumption/
average valuated stock
The total consumption is updated to the <GL:information structure>information structure S031.
The average valuated stock is calculated using the formula:
beginning stock + n stock at month´s end
n + 1
and
The stock level and value of the material are updated in the tables here are MBEW and MBEWH, MARD and MARDH or MCHB and MCHBH. MC.9 and the other reports use tables S031/S039 or thereabouts, which is updated incrementally each month using the previous month's record and the issues / receipts during the monthHope this will rsolve your issue. Thanking you.
hope this will solve your query.

Hello Simran,
My query is specific to parameter "Total Stock Turnover"
In MC.9 table, it is stated as "TtlStckTurnover".
By pressing F1, it is defined as follows -
= (total consumption) / (average total consumption)
Is this formula correct?
In other stock turnover terms (namely Ave turnover of total stock and annual total stock turnover) have stock in denominator.
However, for TtlStckTurnover, why consumption is in denominator?
