change of fiscal year from k4(calendar) to v3(april to march)...

Hi experts..

pls provide the confign steps to be followed... when we change the fiscal yr from K4 to V3..

for ex- if a co. was using jan'11-dec'11(f yr-2011) as it fiscal year.. but gng forward the company want to change its fiscal year to April' 12-march'13(cmg fiscl yr)..

so my question is-- wt is treatment to be given for the first 3 months(i.e., jan feb march) of 2012 ?? (***shortnd fiscl yr-2012?)

Do we need to treat April'12 to march'13 also as **fiscal yr 2012??..

pls provide the exact steps(incl. for april to march) to be followed to deal with scenario..

    Hi,

    SAP does not recommend to change a Fiscal Year Variant that has already been assigned to a company code and already has some postings. This may create database inconsistencies in your system.

    Please check the following attachded notes which will give you an idea of some adverse effects that may happen as a result of a change based on the modules/compnents you have implemented in your system.
