E-Commerce 7.0 B2B - No DC creation in NWDS

Hi Gurus,

I have to create 2 custom B2B webshops.

We have E-Commerce 7.0 and I'm following both SAP E-Commerce 7.0 - Landscape, Basics and Concepts and How to... Create custom Application in E- Commerce 5.0 documents.

I created a first track and I imported this into NDWS, but I can't create a new Development Component, so I can't make our customizations.

In detail, in Inactive DC tab of NWDS when I expand B2B_custom_dev[0] I don't see anything.

Best regards,

Giampaolo

Hi,

You should be able to create new DC from 'Development Configuration' perspective of your NWDS under the custom SC. Did you get any error when doing that?

Thanks,

Derek

Please check if you have imported the SCs for E-Commerce into the track correctly and marked it for development in CMS. It is recommended to create a custom SC for deploying the custom changes. After that, you should be able to see the SCs available under Inactive DCs and you can create a new DC under your custom SC.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Derek

Hi Derek,

thank you for response.

I have no error during the import in Development and all status of SCs are green.

In effect I created a custom DC with the wizard (that I named CUSTCRMPRJ) and now I can see this into Inactive DC tab, but I don't see other SCs that I have to modify, like SAP-SHRWEB and SAP-CRMWEB.

How do I can mark SCs for development?

Best Regards,

Hi Giampaolo,

You can mark the SCs for development in CMS. Go to the track you created in CMS, and go to 'Landscape Configurator'. You should see the SCs you included in this track and there is a checkbox for indicating if the SC can be developed. Also make sure the SAP SCs are checked in and imported into the track.

Thanks,

Derek

Thanks a lot Derek,

our issue is that in ours SCA there aren't the sources.

Now we will try with others SCA complete of sources.

Best regards
