How to create new material(Auto activate) in follow up change request in MDG 7.1 through BADI/ API ?

Hello Experts,

Requirement- In successive CR, create material number S90001-01 (Automatic activation) derived from Prior CR(Material number- S90001). Post Auto-activation, the material number should reflect in ECC MARA table.

I tried in cross-entity BADI (system method) but not able to Auto-activate the material.

Kindly advise how to achieve this requirement in SAP MDG 7.1?
