Its a default functionality in SAP B1 that you can define different UoM for Purchase, Sales and Inventory with proper conversion.

In Item master you can set that. It would be better if you set the lowest UoM for Inventory

    • Dear Aravind,

In the item master, create an UDF for the conversion factor for UOM of Purchase to Sales UOM.

In Production Order form, Rows, create a UDF for Actual Value and Converted Value (Actual value multiplied by Conversion factor) and link the Converted to Planned quantity fow level by FMS.

Now, the Purchase UOM is as it is, and when a production order is made the Actual Value is what comes from Purchase UOM and get converted to Converted value and hence the value of purchase UOM is debited and you get the Sales in UOM.

Set Purchase UOM as Kgs and Sales as Numbers.
