EKPO-SPINF Inforecord update is working, but Price in Inforecord not

Hi Gurus,

When I click in Purchase order EKPO-SPINF a inforecord is been created.

That´s okay.

What do I need to do, so that also the price in inforecord is been updated.

Or is this not possible?

Regards

Dieter

    hi,

As we learn from SAP Note 569885, the Info Record update indicator (EKPO-SPINF) never updates the price (PB00) in the Info Record from the Purchase Order (u2018Neither price nor conditions are ever writen to the Info Record!u2019).

Normally, the info record price is updated through quotation or contract instead of from PO.

you can Update price via tcode XK15.

Info update indicator in Purchase order don't update the price in Info record.

It stores the last Purchase order in the created Info record, or it creates Info record if config is maintained.

Further , you can restrict auto pricing to P.O through User parameter EVO.

    Hi,

The Purchasing Info Record => EINE table will not be updated automatically until you run report RM06INP0. If you need to get the net price (EINE-NETPR) in table EINE to 'consistent' status with value from the purchasing info record you can run report RM06INP0 periodicly e.g. as background job via ME1B.

You may also refer to following notes for detail information

685117 Net Price in Info Record or Contract is wrong

    Hope it helps.

logically we have price at material master and info record and contract or condition record. these records are used to store data for material master or material master / vendor combination. But still PO is the final and legal document to vendor so PO price is the final price and it varies purchase to purchase.. so its not logical to update the info record after a PO but still when you create a PO with difference price and using moving avg price, it updates the moving avg price in material master with the average price. But it doesnt update inforecord or contract with the new price...

If you wanna check the change in PO history, check in ME1P
