    • It is possible to include product group as a characteristic in the BCS data model and databasis.

      Because it is not typical to have eliminations between product groups, this characteristic may be assing a role of subassignment and required in the breakdown categories assigned to the P&L items onlt - excluding this from teh Balance Sheet items.

      This should provide analysis of P&L for various product groups.

      One consideration is to exclude this from BCS and use COPA for product group P&L analyses. This is a more typical approach.

    Hey,

    Yes of course!

    Steps:

    1. add a characteristisc Product group to "cube total recorde".

    2. In the Data basis add "Product group" with role "Product

    3. add in Consolidation group add this field.

    4. add "breakdown category" with field "Product group"

    5. add this breakdown category in items, which need to save with "product group".
