Current personnel number range in Legacy system has alredy been used in SAP

Hi Friends,

I am in one of the rollout project for single company code.

I am going to have interface with legacy system and SAP.

Current personnel number range in Legacy system has already been used for earlier personnel number range for other company codes implementation.

Now to have interface, I need to have the same personnel numbers in both the systems.

How shall I handle the same?

Hi,

Do you really need to have the same personal numbers in both systems? I would recommend to use the infotype 0105 in SAP to store the personal number of the employee in the legacy system (this way you will be able to "pair" the personal numbers in SAP and legacy system in the interface).
