Manual Planning

Dear All,

I am new to BPS, can U let me know what to do after entering the Planning data (manual planning) in the spread sheet ?

Should I do the Updata (save option in the spreadsheet). and how will I execute to update the data to Infocube ?

    Hi Balaram,

    After entering the planning data you should use a button to save the data. For that insert a button in the workbook, select the dataprovider name(which displays plannign data). Select Planning specific command -> next button -> Save option -> and finish. Thats it. So after you enter the planned data click on the save button and the data will be save to the cube provided cube should be in planning mode.

    Hi Balram,

    After youve entered the data you will have to save it.Make sure that the cube in which you are loading the data is in planning mode.Once you save the data you can go to the cube and in the manage tab you can see a a new request would be there ( status yellow) for the entered data. Once the planning data is saved completely .you can switch the cube back to load data mode which will turn the yellow request to green.
