Hi All,
After applying the below notes
Note 1650032 - Landscape LMDB wrapper SP4 related corrections
Note 1633725 - SAP Solution Manager - Basic functions of 7.1 SP4
My Server goes slow specially Tcodes like SOLMAN_SETUP or the Tcodes related to Webdynpro.
Should i run SGEN again for this?
Or any idea what to do in this scenario?
Kindly help me regarding the same.
Thanks & Regards
Ajitabh
Hi,
I am afraid, SGEN is goint to help here. But still if you would like to run SGEN then just execute it for component ST.
Reason for slowness for this transaction might not be directly related to this transaction itself. It might be related to the background jobs running at the time of your solman_setup execution.
My suggestion would be increase memory and adjust your parameters accordingly(Note 1582842), plus choose the time when there is comparatively less load on SolMan.
For your help here are few notes.
Note 1582842 - Profile parameters for Solution Manager 7.1
Note 1555955 - SAP Solution Manager 7.1 - Performance Checks for LMDB
Note 1594654 - LMDB Content Sync: Performance and Reference Numbers

After applying SAP note 1633725, you should run SGEN as this note is central correction note for solman 7.1 SP4 and it brings lots of objects.
Thanks
Sunny

2. or should we run SGEN first and then implement support packages?
